MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Remove the Horizontal Adjustment T-Handle (this is the handle that secures the motor/wheel assembly to the base assembly)

2. Remove the motor/wheel assembly from the base and lay on its side, wheel down.

3. Place the “PITCH TWISTER” on the motor/wheel assembly, align the small hole on the mounting plate with the T-Handle hole and attach with the 1/2” bolt, lock washer and flat washer. (Lightly tighten at this time.)

4. Place the Stationary Idler Arm on the 1” base shaft of the pitching machine (spring post must be pointing up)

5. Place the motor/wheel assembly with the “PITCH TWISTER” attached, on to the base shaft.

6. Lift up on the spring tab post and tighten securely the 1/2” bolt on the mounting plate.

7. Align the stationary idler arm with the rear leg on the base, and slide it up the shaft, leaving about 5/16” space between the arm and the bottom of the mounting plate.

8. Tighten the two nuts on the clamp (you must tighten the nuts evenly or they may hit the rotating plate when you position it to feed the balls from the bottom).

9. Attach the tension spring to the spring tab post on the mounting plate.

10. Plug the pitching machine in to the PITCH TWISTER and plug the PITCH TWISTER in to a 115 volt AC power supply.

YOU ARE NOW READY TO USE YOUR PITCH TWISTER!!

ALIGNING THE PITCH TWISTER FOR HITTING

1. Set up your pitching machine per the manufacturer’s instruction manual.

2. Turn on the PITCH TWISTER and the pitching machine.

3. Allow the PITCH TWISTER to cycle back and forth, stopping it when it is in the most inside position to the batter (right or left handed batter).

4. Adjust the pitching machine so that it throws the ball approximately 1 ball width inside home plate. (The PITCH TWISTER is designed to be used at 37 feet from home plate, this will give you a full ball width inside and outside home plate.)

5. BEFORE A BATTER STEPS TO THE PLATE, FEED SEVERAL BALLS TO DOUBLE CHECK YOUR SETUP

6. Batters must wear a batting helmet, and all safety instructions from your pitching machine manufacturer must be followed.
